Avoid till they fix the nail bitting bugs.
Relaunched is pretty much Surviving Mars Politics DLC.

But the Politics are overwhelmingly overtuned, with some laws and buildings you can completely trivialize the game difficulty; as of now the 'challenge' of other factions can be easily mitigated, specially if you get friendly factions to the goals you have, and it does not at all compensate for the overall economy buffs that they provide, ending up in a trivialized game. For instance mines can be depleted from full to 0 with 3 shifts with the buffs or rocket achieve FTL speed to earth arriving and going back instantly.

Thus Surviving Mars is mostly only surviving the early game, after that it's city builder. Terraforming completely erases the disasters which is the main difficulty of the game. Underground tech comes too late compared to other critical stuff, it's buggy and underwhelming, same with asteroids, too much resources invested when normal tech is more effective. They advertised reworks but I don't see much of the reworks there.

Overall this is a 7, the game is fun. But dissapointing.
