Great game.

Gorgeous, hand-drawn graphics. Great atmosphere, music, story, characters. Your choices matter, to an extent at least.
Fairly good combat. Not really "great" as such, it's not XCOM: Long War exactly, but it's not bad.
The sequel is better on both combat and visuals, so that's always good.

Omg yesss! I've been meaning to check this out, I've heard great things about it. I really love the art style! Gotta play the sequel next tho!
