Cities Skylines II is a complete and total upgrade from the original Cities Skylines game. Nearly every system has been reworked, updated, or otherwise changed for the better. The road tool in particular is fantastic to use. Performance certainly is not perfect, but that is hardly a concern for me personally. While it may not be perfect, this game is a strong sequel to the great first game, and I foresee putting just as many hours into this game as I did the original.
Don't mind the naysayers, if you enjoy a solid city-building game, you will love this game.
