Whales VS F2P

F2P
Playing F2P is totally possible if you just enjoy the story and the lore of the horses.
The game gives lots of free pulls over time since we are on an accelerated path compared to the JP version of the game.
Its recommended that you pull on cards when you first start out and pull on horses when you have some extra carrots.
There are tons of guides and even a banner page online tracking the upcoming banners and more if you need some more F2P tips. Being a F2P player IS DOABLE with some luck and just playing for dailies.

Whales
Well, you know... Whales can obviously get passed the game quicker to the end game comp CM scene.
But without the knowledge I have seen some whales lose during some competitive CM's.
Pull on what you want I guess.

Overall

I was never a gacha player, I only played ZZZ but it really wasn't my thing. But Umamusume has tons of horses with different personalities, you can pick your favorite and just enjoy the game instead of trying to be competitive .
Lock in, have fun, don't wasted all your carrots and always roll on 99%, gamblers always quit before hitting big.
Just be scared of the woman with a needle.

Good free game.

Colours and cosmetics are paid but that's what you get with a free to play game. They gotta make money somehow.
You can also gain colours through journal logs so its not a total loss for customizing your character.

The story is good and abilities are satisfying. I would recommend it to any F2P players who are looking for a grind similar to warframe.

They wanted around 30 min of gameplay for the first chapter but if you actually take a look around for easter eggs and enjoy the atmosphere its around an hour of fun gameplay.

Good lore for the first chapter and leaves you on a bit of a cliffhanger.
Dev talked about how this game is only going to be funded by their patreon so the games chapters will probably be free.

Amazing credits at the end and great character design, nice passion project.

Can't wait to see more. Love seeing indie devs produce games like this.

Got this game almost 2 years ago and the game still preforms like it just got released. Map bugs, spawn bugs and vehicle bugs that still haven't been fixed. Should still be in early access. Ill probably still play it tho... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great game if you love story mode games. I bought this game on sale and was worth my time and money. Very sad ending for me but it might be different for you, you will find out.
