Don't believe the lies others will tell you, Serious Sam 2 is the best game in the franchise, and I've been waiting for a direct sequel for 20 years.

If you want a TPS Roguelike, this is a great free option. Characters are fun and interesting, even the starting characters. You can unlock characters through playing the game, or by purchasing outright, and skins are obtained through the gacha. Overall a fun experience, though be wary of the monetization.

I'll never forget what gearbox did to this game on release of SOTS, but the game is in a good state now. I can't say I'm excited for the future of this game, but what it is now is one of my favorite games of all time.

Crazy that people start reading the EULA and TOS with this game instead of literally every live service game before it.

Anyways, the game is pretty cool.
