Hunt was a great game...
Until the 1896 update prioritized "fuller" lobbies over actually balanced matches between teams of players, completely destroying the already extremely flawed matching making system.

Regardless of player highs and lows during or not during "events". 3 to 4 star Matchmaking rating players (fresh, returning, or "occasional" players) should not be paired with high end 6 star MMR players who have an overwhelming amount more experience, hours, and skill. And if those 3 to 4 star players happen to kill a handful of 6 star players, (who are possibly not even 6 star skill level themselves, given current circumstances) they should not instantly be stuck as a 6 star themselves until they suffer 30+ deaths in a row (intentionally or not, at the hands of other players or cheaters, it literally doesn't matter anymore) in order to get back to where they should ideally be in terms of "skill" according to this extremely broken system.

Everyone can argue and complain all day and night about the numerous bugs, balancing issues, completely uncontrolled cheaters at high end MMR and smurfs who supposedly abuse lower end mmr, certainly.
But whenever I've tried to introduce or bring friends back to the game and their experience is overwhelmingly negative with death after death after death against players who possesses hundreds of hours more then them, or witnessing my own identical and horrid experience with the matchmaking system...

A fundamentally broken matchmaking system will always be fundamentally broken even when it's "working as intended." or has the "critical" mass of player counts to function "properly."
No amount of new player on-boarding, bug fixing, or balance changes can do anything except band-aid a already long rotting and infected wound on what otherwise is supposed to be a great game.

Say "git guud" and point out "It's a competitive pvp game" all you want, but regardless if it's a silenced bush camper that kills you from across the map or getting turned to red paste the second you make a sound or minuscule error in your own play... Players new and existing need to be able to enjoy playing the game if you want them to stick around and keep it from becoming purely cheaters or sweaty no lifers.
Getting destroyed over and over and over again isn't exactly in most people's idea of enjoyment, and then being outright punished by the system for simply doing "good" a handful of times on top of that is just a really extra rotten way for a competitive game to slowly die.

"If it's not fun, why bother?"

Considering the state of the game at the moment, it's unfortunate that it is very much not recommended at the time of writing this.

While the new DLC by Gearbox is certainly lesser then the previous DLC by Hopoo, I am excited to see what the new dev team at Gearbox will be able to do in the future as they find their footing and hopefully learn and grow going forward!

However, there is many, many more issues present if the current downturn in reviews wasn't a very bad indication of the mountain of bugs present like every other large publisher tied or related game.

On top of the deadly sin of region locking many people on the day of release, a lot of unpolished work within it and just a mountain of bugs undoubtly pushed aside by greedy scumbag executives like Randy Pitchford, Gearbox seems to have changed a lot of things within the base game itself that have drastically made the game legitimately worse to play between a long list of bugs and biggest thing being lot of things are now supposedly dependent on your framerate, making even the Rainstorm difficulty much harder then it should be.

The Gearbox touch of death is certainly real, but please remember it's scumbags like CEO of Gearbox Randy Pitchford that are the root of so many problems these days with a lot of games, not the dev teams themselves.

I do hope that the dev team behind Seekers of the Storm are rightfully proud of the work they did put in on a very beloved game and franchise and i hope they will find more success in the future as they continue to find their footing, but goodness gracious I have no doubt that the repetitive story of greedy executive meddling is highly to blame here regarding all of the issues brought in with the latest DLC and update.

Early Access Review
Why do we have to wear these ridiculous ties?

Best summer internship i've ever done, and still doing.
GATE has a lot of great benefits and career opportunities, and I even get to exercise more then my feeble science twink body has ever gotten before.

Plenty of on demand snacks and drinks (Meals too, if you hunt and cook it. Mind the fountain water tho, it's got parasites or something)

Management is very hands off, having no oversight on your scientific projects is very liberating, and you can even build your own goon cave so long as there is furniture around (and Warren in the lobby can't do anything about it!)

Choose your own hours work structure (Set death traps for your co-workers, many are very disruptive and loud at night, the inconsiderate jerks.)

Insurance benefits after your probation period (The needles and pills are free, don't worry about the warning labels, i'm several hundred needles and iodine pills in and i feel better then ever before and my brain meat is bigger, girthier, and more wrinkly then what the spam mail ads promise me.)

Best $25 i ever spent for a new career.
Highly recommend applying for GATE! You also get (imaginary) bonuses for referring friends and family!

Feels like it was (mostly) made by valve in terms of quality.

I felt like i was playing a new half life game with this.

It's freakin great, highly recommend!

TL;DR
Hands down one of the best RPG's i have ever played, easily earning a spot in my top 10 games of all time.
It is very much worth the full price if you are into roleplaying strategy games.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is a beautifully crafted and expansive world that is loaded to the brim with varied and interesting content, with very stellar writing and voice acting to boot! You can really do almost whatever you want as well with a truly organic world!

The Lengthy Campaign and turn based strategy is certainly not for everyone, but for people like me who absolutely love D&D or any sort of strategy games (Like XCOM) it's absolutely amazing in my opinion. It also comes with cooperative multiplayer and a Dungeon master Mode to make your own campaigns, and lots of support for modding and workshop content which will likely keep the game alive for many years.

The game is very challenging, and very certainly wont hold your hand, especially in the later acts of the main campaign, though, i've never felt it to be unfair outside of a few times i got stunlocked in my lone wolf playthrough with a friend.

The game does have a few bugs here and there, and some of the combat can get repetitive with a sort of limited set of skills, but i never got bored with it, especially with the wide variety of things to do and fight! But, custom classes and mods can very much further, though i would still heavily recommend playing through the vanilla game!

A Dystopian Cyber-Punk Hotline Maimi and Shadow Warrior mix in the best ways.

It's a little short at 5-7 hours for a $20 game (not counting NG+ or Speedrun mode), though it's INCREDIBLY refined and high qaulity, and does what it does GOOD.

The way movement works is a little wonky to get used to but, once you learn them you can get very easily immersed in the ultraviolence, dystopian world, and the few characters that make the calm hub area (Alongside Susumu Hirasawa's amazing musical work) really darn alive and charming in its own morbid way, even if it only immerses you for a little bit.

Deffinitely worth buying and having some fun with!

Very good and responsive combat, Amazing art and sound design, and not a single word of dialouge to convey an awesome little world.

Perhaps a little short depending on tastes, some replayability with NG+ and 100%ing each area, but well worth full price for a great expierence.

Dont even bother.
Extremely buggy, insane scam and rip off for the price.
All Titans does is add a few more units, and that's litterally it.
The Developers dont care enough to respect the players who backed them on the orignal and force them to rebuy a whole new thing for a quick and easy buck on something that's not even worth the ludicrious 40 dollars they charge for it, and they dont even bother to fix bugs and issues.

Basically
Buy Titans only on sale for 85% or more, the Devs dont deserve anymore then that.
Do not buy the older "classic version"
IF you have classic version, your better off without this overpriced glorified dlc of about 20 unbalanced units and a outragous scam
Buggy and uncared for

Go play Supreme Commander instead.

DLC makes up more then 75% of the actual game and they're all the same useless and unintuitive garbage.

They go the CS;GO and TF2 route of expensive crates and cosmetic gun skins. Really awful ones at that.

They rebalance most guns to be completely usless.

They never try anything new or something more difficult.

Went back on their word promising never to add microtransactions. Now they have Microtransactions.
