So, to all those saying all negative reviews are just people whining cause the game is hard, ♥♥♥♥ you. I've played through Xcom EU and loved it as a solid game filled with cool interesting ideas, and a challenge that overcame on multiple systems.

The thing that sets Xcom 2 in a negative light instead of a positive one like its counterpart can be summed up with a couple reasons.

For one: The game feels incomplete.
While I'm fine with buggy games if the developers show a strong desire to fix them, I feel that the developers have moved onto cash grab DLC. There's a delay whenever a soldier takes an action which adds to the length of a missions time which can be annoying. I found that the base building in the second game is lame and doesn't bring anything new to the table. While the new options for outfits can be fun to play with, many outfits are locked behind paywalls. The classes seemed pretty lack luster, especially when it came to them leveling up.

Second: Timed missions.
While I'm absolutely happy with the introduction to stealth in this game, I kind of feel like it doesn't work with almost any of the timed missions. I understand that there needs to be a pressure to get the fight started, but I can't help but get pissed when the timer pushes the played to take risks, while at the same time play it safe.
And on the topic of stealth, it makes almost no sense why one soldier revealing their location should allert all the ememies to my sniper who is pretty much in another state over.

Third: DLC.
There should be no reason why this ♥♥♥♥ costs this much. Most of it is cosmetic and another mission. I haven't played war of the choosen, so I wouldn't know what that is like, but for the others, don't buy them.

TLDR:
The mechanics feel sloppy and wrong, and I'd like to see better content for the classes and DLC missions.
