Early Access Review
this game managed to scratch that stardew itch for me and is super charming! i love rhythm games so i find the cooking minigames super fun, however if you don't enjoy those sorts of things (hitting a key at the right time) then this game may not be for you.

what distinguishes this game from stardew:
-the setting has cyberpunk-esque themes (mostly where your character comes from) and there are androids. you can set your character species to an android if you so desire.
-restaurant management (duh). i think it's done super well and isn't too overwhelming. plus you don't HAVE to operate your restaurant every day
-unlike stardew, you can select your own birthday and which season you start in. you can also save at any time if you choose
-there are a bunch of randomly generated npcs mixed in with the townsfolk to make the town feel more alive. they also have some funny lines

what i'd like to see:
-more character interactions -- i'm only 12hrs in but i'm getting literally the same line over and over again from the boba lady after becoming close friends with her
-more seasonal specialties. so far i've only played spring and summer, and the difference was barely noticeable. maybe something like stardew's seasonal forageables? or even products only sold by vendors during specific seasons.
-more ability to decorate outside around your restaurant (although since i haven't gotten too far i'm unsure if this is a feature or not)
-make watering plants feel less clunky.
-maybe a different character sprite when you get knocked out instead of rotating the sprite 90 degrees -- it looks kinda goofy and my character will keep walking while flipped 90 degrees
-more android characters. androids are cool.

this game has repetitive tasks, but a lot of variety in which tasks you can do. if you like stardew valley and/or fantasy life, you will probably like this game. however, as stated before, if you despise any form of rhythm game, then you will not enjoy the core gameplay aspect of running your restaurant.
