Played an hour at launch and can't go through the starting area due to game-breaking bug. Finished a run when Phantom Liberty got announced, with some minor bugs all around. Currently on Phantom Liberty run and this game is smooth, with only some minor-moderate bugs (e.g. cars or bikes randomly falling and getting damaged when called to clipping out of bounds) in my experience.

The update they did on 2.1 massively revamped the game, giving me a lot of stuff to play and experiment with, and the build diversity is quite fun as well. Even without the Phantom Liberty DLC, I think it's worth it to play, just so we can see the initial vision of the game that was promised, but not met.

While certainly a redemption arc for CD Projekt Red, the initial launch of the game was one of the biggest fumble in gaming history, alongside No Man's Sky and should be a reminder for everyone in the future about the danger of over-hyping and not meeting the expectations of players. However, in it's current state, I can highly recommend this game, as while some of the content are quite repetitive (NCPD Scanner), the gameplay is really fun once your build are starting to come together.
