In retrospect I should make a review for T7 so here we go:
Beside some of the very top tier characters (Akuma, Kunimitsu Marduk and Feng) its a pretty balanced game.
Plus sides: Patient gameplay and movements gets rewarded, you have to play around and adapt to your opponents playstyle (which is easy because you can deathmatch), swag and max damage combos are hard most of the time (kings instant while running grab and every lee combo) but feel rewarding. It was my first Tekken in which I really tried to learn how to play this game. Stages and music are very cool. Many characters to choose from at the end of this game's lifespan.
Negatives: Graphics are just fine (some models look bad like lars), Loading times and online connections can be just okay or bad and you have to play very careful because of fast counterhit launchers (i11 ch magic 4). Practice mode and Replay system is good but nowhere as usefull or intiutive as Tekken 8's. And the devs made some bad balance decision with Fahkumram/Leroy and bizarre system changes. I guess the last point is still an ongoing problems because the same devs are now on Tekken 8.

Overall a very good fighting game with some flaws.
