The ending of WWII is AWFUL. Am I the only one mad about this? They build up Hitler as the ultimate villain like the Thanos of the 1940s and then he rage-quits in a bunker? No trial? No showdown? Lame. Then FDR, the main Allied lead, dies mid-war with no warning. His arc was unfinished! We get Truman instead, a side character who drops two nukes like he just unlocked a cheat code. Lazy writing. And Stalin? He was set up as the morally gray anti-hero, but suddenly he’s a dictator with gulags? Where was the foreshadowing?! That twist made no sense. And don’t get me started on the Cold War sequel: new villains, nuclear standoffs, and zero resolution. WWII started like Band of Brothers and ended like Game of Thrones. Someone rewrite this finale, please.
