This game has an incredible atmosphere, and just for this, you should try it.

Graphics -> excellent
Sound design -> excellent
Gameplay -> excellent
Ui -> good
Story -> good

Also, it is a non-violent game, the game doesn't have any lethal weapon (except the knife, but it is supposed to be used as a tool), so basically, you can play as a vegan person. This makes the game kinda unique for its genre (survival games).

If "some people" are offended by games that make you slaughter animals then they have bigger problems to worry about.

Personnaly i don't care, i even play factorio a lot, where you perform mass slaughter of navite fauna for the sake of logistic optimisation

well some people don't want to play a game who forces you to slaughter lots of animals. And some people don't want their children to play violent games, so i was just mentionning that subnautica is surprisingly well suited for this kind of person.
