A few words of advice:
- Never click any links you see on this platform. Even if they appear legit, they could be IP grabbers.
- Never friend random people you have no recollection of meeting.
- Do not let people drag you out to another platform. Be it a trading or a communication site. If something happens there, steam support won't help.
- Double check who's sending you trades. Verify if your beloved pal isn't a doppelganger.
- Anyone introducing themselves as a Valve employee to you and wanting something from you is a faker. Report for impersonation and block.
- If someone says that they accidentally reported you for one reason or another, you can tell them to get lost, then block and report them.
- Take everything you see on steam community user discussion forums with a grain of salt. Don't feed ragebait by responding or giving awards. When others start using derogatory terms or fallacies, they are not interested in civil discussion: as such, simply stop replying to them.
- Drink water, at least 2 liters a day. Take breaks between gameplay sessions. Shower at least 3 times a week.
