On 7th January 2026, I solo queued to claim CS2 weekly drop on premier match. It was an Inferno map and I was underperforming since it was my first match at that day. Because I haven't locked in yet, I was alt-tabbing alot to watch Neuro-sama VODS while playing. Then suddenly when the 3rd round ended, I was kicked from the match. Though it was just a normal network error or something, but then when I looked at the the ingame pop up message, it said something about VAC kicked me from the match. I thought nothing of it and simply tried to restart my CS2, but then there was another pop up message from steam saying that I was game banned? Its a bit of a shock and a letdown for me since the whole reason I play CS2 is because of the weekly drop. It was nice for me to get steam wallet currency without spending any IRL money anymore and I have a bit of fun while grinding the weekly drop. Becuse of the weekly drop, I managed to bought games like Hollow Knight, HK: Silksong, Deeprock, and Palworld. However, since the ban I cant/wont buy steam games anymore since I dont really want to spend IRL money.

I truly believe there is something wrong with the VAC AI that banned me, because:
• I never lend my steam account to friends or family.
• This is my og account, I didnt buy it from others.
• I confirmed via steam support that my phone number is only used on this steam account
• No third party apps in my devices that can make false positive like the AMD anti lag, etc.
• I never use a cheat/software that gives me advantage againts other.

Fortunately I got old expensive cases on my really really old account. Sold it and bought prime account, I'm always come back.
