As a minesweeper fan I really hate to not recommend this.
Let's start off by saying that I think minesweeper is the worst puzzle game ever made. It's a puzzle game that you can lose while playing perfectly. That is unacceptable for a puzzle game.
That said, I still really like minesweeper because of the logic that it uses.
Turning minesweeper into a dungeoncrawler is honestly a great idea and the developpers were really smart about it. They figured out how to place mines so that they can prevent 50/50 chances.
But they didn't use this properly. I think with a bit of balancing this game could be great, but as it stands its a dungeoncrawler that you lose purely because of bad luck. Some of the omens in the game basically boil down to "You lose", there are way too many 50/50 or even 33/66 chances that you have to take in order to complete the level.
