Nuclear energy is efficient and clean. There are no laws governing the act of building your own reactor. There are documented blueprints for one that can power a home while being small enough to keep in a basement. Do that. Build a nuclear reactor and remove your home from the electrical grid. Never have a black out again. Never pay for electricity again. Never relinquish the information of how much energy you use to the government again.

On that note build your own electronics. 3D print a phone and use security driven 3rd party operating systems. Don't use software made by big companies. Use open source schizo programs on all your devices.
