Fallout: New Vegas is my favorite game of all time.
FNV is simply one of the most engaging RPG experiences ever, and I could rave about FNV's satisfying dialogue and superb quest design for hours. But honestly, the game speaks for itself. You could point out that FNV's combat is certainly subpar for a shooter, but, in my opinion, the combat still manages to be charming and fun. This game is such a gem, in addition to all the mods you can install.
However, I can point out one major drawback for FNV (and a lot of games made by Obsidian): it is almost impossible to get the maximum enjoyment out of Fallout: New Vegas in a blind playthrough. This is due to the sheer amount of completely missable content; it's unreasonable to assume you'd get to enjoy all FNV has to offer on a first playthrough. FNV is absolutely a game that gets better the more times you play it and the more you learn about it.
