Thought it was fun up to like after the second boss. Basically the game has this persona like time mechanic. You got to get certain potions by the 10th calendar day as your first big quest. Most actions take a slot out of your daily time. Potion brewing for example takes up to like 1-7 chunks of time depending on how you manage your cauldron. Traveling to the are with all the npc's takes a slot, and hanging with them as well.

Pro's:
Characters are fun. Visuals are great! I like the simple card battling in the shop as well, its all really well dressed up.

Cons:
The game-play loop gets really tiresome. If you're not some kind of pro at it you are basically always starved for cash. You get to travel to an area where all the shops/characters are, which takes a timeslot out of your day. Then you can chill with them, buy ingredients, send characters on gathering missions or upgrade your shop.

Big issue is, that if you want to upgrade any equipment in your shop you need to unequip it, which is ridiculous. The adventures as well to get ingredients are almost more expensive than the ingredients you put in there, I'm sure theirs more ways to play it, but as someone who doesn't like looking things up - I find the game play loop extremely tedious and really not respecting your time.

And don't get me started about the Special orders you can do. The moment I unlocked this, I was barely able to do any of them for most of the time. There's no down side to not doing them, but its also very demotivating to constantly get these timed quests that you cant even get the materials for yet. It got really frustrating.

All in all, I was really enjoying it but then it got to a point where I was constantly missing something. And to get that I needed this and to get this I needed that, and its not difficult, its just a stupid amount of steps to progress so little. It was just not satisfying anymore and felt like a real chore, which is a shame as the presentation is really awesome.

Pretty insane I only paid 45 bucks for this while there is 70 dollar slob on steam that I wouldn't even wipe my cheeks with.

Hands down the best TurnBased RPG I've played since FF10. Also, the music did not have to go THIS hard.

Cant wait to see what sandfall does next.

Feel like i'm doing the same thing all the time, and for some reason its fun as heck.

Awesome little village builder with rogue-like elements.

As many said - The difficulty scaling is really. Really. Bad Its funny, because within my first 5-6 hours I talked fairly high of this game. But you quickly start dreading the thought of winning a game with a super OP deck, knowing that the 50 runs after that are going to be boring as hell, trying to beat this "Unbeatable" deck at the end of the run.

After you beat the game the first time, it basically becomes incredible unfun for most people. It just turns the difficulty up by like 10 times. And you have to fight your previous deck at the end of the run. Which lets be fair - Its a deckbuilder. So high chance its a busted build.

This is such a stupid thing. In games like these, you usually only get so far because you had a busted deck the previous run. And try beating that... This really makes the game so incredible hard to win a run on. And losing most of your runs is fun in slay the spire, after you cranked up the difficulty yourself. But in wildfrost you got no choice.

You can tell quite early in the game, if things have not come together yet - that you are just fudged for this run. Fun.

Not my kind of fun honestly. Might give it another 2 hours see if I change my mind
