Okay lets start simple. Rust is technically a pretty nice game, with devs that update and bring new stuff to the game regularly. It makes a lot of fun playing with friends, building a base, killing people et cetera. But actually there are few things that sadly really suck @ss.
(sorted by heaviness of sucking - last is the most horrible)

- You cant change or select your gender and skin color. I personally do not care, even though I got a bad one, but why the hell would you do this as a dev team? Are they laughing about all those people that are p!ssed off? Idk.

- Its impossible / really hard for new players. Yea sorry but "noob friendly" servers don't exist in a good way. New players won't reach anything good if they don't spend much time with Rust...

- Lots of community servers are crap. Many of them are fake, closing in 2 days, losing all pop in 2 days, lie with stuff like wipe schedule or simply have awful admins. It can be really frustrating to not find a server you started playing on anymore.

- You can barely play alone. You need good teammates to reach far in the game. Playing alone against lots of groups is honestly bullsh!t. (And yes, I know there are solo-only servers, but there are not many of those and most of them aren't good in my eyes.)

- You can't play anytime you want. Often you need to wait for a good server to wipe. I personally don't like building a base for it to be wiped after 2 or 3 days. I prefer 1 month wipe schedule servers, sadly, there are not many of them :(. So if I want to start playing Rust, I need to check the times of (good / official) servers wiping...
-> (I personally think) wipe schedules don't match with Rust's playstyle. I mean, farming ressources takes a indescribably amount of time. So does getting/finding guns and stuff to research. Don't get me wrong, having good stuff to be hard to get isn't bad at all. I like it. The feeling when you finally find some revolver is awesome. But why the heck would you then make servers that wipe (=reset) twice a week, once a week or even once every 2 weeks? It makes no sense to me. Who wants to invest all their efforts for some stuff they lose in a few days?

After all those negative points, Rust is still a great game (beside some other points like doorcamping and "unfair playstyles"). With having a nice server and nice people, it makes fun :). But I'd only recommend it to people, who are really going to spend a lot of time studying it.

e:// My Game Ban (Rust) was due to total randomness. I literally did nothing, just played Rust, suddenly I got banned by Anti Cheat. All my stuff disappeared for my teammates and I can't play this game anymore. But why? Well, I am curious about that too. It says that the development banned me for cheat or being a "distorbing player". However, I never used any cheat or other third party device. Never did something illegal else, so yea.
You may believe it or not, the truth is that the ban is basically random. I feel like someone reported me after I killed them and the devs just said "ok! ban!".

Buying a game just for having it taken away from you (because of a misunderstanding/mistake) is not okay. Really.

After contacting the developers and the EAC Support, all I got was a copy and paste answer that told me that they won't unban me... Great. Good to see that the system bans people randomly without even checking the ban.
