I just finished Disco Elysium, and I'm really not sure what to say. I enjoyed it, a lot. It was very well written. There's a lot in there that I haven't done, sides to take, decisions not decided, things that I missed, firearms I forgot to recover or didn't have an opportunity to.

A lot of the people I talk to have said "What the hell is Disco Elysium" - It's a game about a dude still dealing with a broken heart. Who is also addicted to every addictive substance on the planet, and also seems to have some kind of schizophrenia. It is also a very good game, with a lot of choices, even if the world space is actually quite small, there's still a lot to discover and interact with. It's an RPG, kind of, but one without combat. It's set in a weird universe with a whole lot of Weird to discover. As our Disco Enthused Officer discovers himself, we discover the world, and that world is exceptionally well built, regardless of 2mm holes, or stray 4mm rounds.

Overall, I highly recommend Disco Elysium if you're into reading, or cool stories, or the drama of it all, of branching paths, of choices, of Disco, and so much more. I can't wait to see what comes from the developers in the future. I hope it's a sequel. Or an expansion. But whatever it is, god, please let us move on from that Apricot Scented Creature.
