Early Access Review
Early Access - This game is coming along quite nicely, and even with the success of the Xcom games, we still have a bit of a lack of good turn based tacticals. This little gem looks like it will help fill in some of that missing roster. Combat so far feels pretty good, and even though it's not fully fleshed out yet, the faction system is a nice strategic touch. The film noir style is unique in the genre (as far as I've ever seen, anyway), and gives it a nice niche of its own to sit in. If you're a fan of Xcom, Xenonauts, Massive Chalice, and the like, or are eagerly awaiting Phoenix Point, this game will help satisfy your need for a different turn based tactics game, even in early access. I expect a lot of good things when it has a final release. It's also worth mentioning that the developer is very actively listening to players, and even asking them for specific experiences to help fine tune the progression. Definitely recommended, and no doubt, will recommend even more as it is finished. If you want to support indie devs who actually work hard and want to make something enjoyable, then consider grabbing it in EA, even if you don't wind up playing until release. It's important to support the little guy, and any turn based tactics fan should be able to find $12 worth of value here.

Hey FiniteThrills. Thanks for supporting a small developer, and for taking the time to write a review. After spending well over 8,000 hours working on Vigilantes, it's always nice to learn that all those hours have been worthwhile :)
