A densely atmospheric and tense game with a great presentation. Highly recommended for the small asking price (my initial playthrough took me just under two hours). Some aspects of the game can be slightly frustrating however, such as the second chase sequence and the maze section. There are three endings but only one is truly satisfying. I would say the other two offer some form of replayability although depending on your playstyle you could stumble across one of the unsatisfying endings on your first playthrough which is a shame. The third ending is so obtuse that I would suggest a majority of people won't get it without a guide. I highly enjoyed my time with this game regardless of its minor shortcomings and recommend that you give it a shot if you're interested in atmospheric horror.

A worthy sequel to the original trilogy that lives up to their legacy. The graphics are well done and there are wonderful touches such as the retro & CRT filters. Gameplay is excellent and if you are interested in unlocking everything then there is more to do here than in any of the previous entries. Some of the stages are a little on the short side and in general the bosses are fairly easy. Additionally, the music is not as engaging as the previous titles (although there is an option to play tracks from SoR1 and 2 instead). Netcode could do with some work, we've experienced slowdown of some sort at random intervals while playing. I've played through the game twice today and will be continuing to play over the coming weeks & months. Highly recommended.
