F*ck the batmobile. Absolutely hideous levels and story progression.

As a fan of the "boomer" shooters regarding the aesthetics and being an appreciator toward the general perception of the people that used to design the old fps games, I had my hopes a little bit high for Serious Sam.

First time trying it ever. And after just the first 10 minutes I feel like I'm doing work instead of playing. The game is so so repetitive.

I understand the main alure behind the game and the "waves" and some random jumpscares, but the enemies were boring after a period of time. Just rushing brainessly toward you is not so fun.
I'm not gonna lie I had a little giggle in the beginning because of the 3D models and the sound of the enemies but that's it.
The gunplay, I understand that the game tried to respect the old shooters aspect, but no recoil feels so wrong I don't know why. Actually firing with a shotgun felt very frustrating and not quite satisfying to begin with.

The only thing that I liked very much is without a doubt the level design. Egypt feels good to move within and give a sense of freedom of mouvement.

Summary, I'm disappointed but then again I placed my hopes high.
Been an okay experience but I would not recommend it.

Decent & fun game, but becomes boring very VERY quickly. I used to play similar mode on GTA San Andreas Multiplayer (MTA) and it was somehow better for me.

Not worth the money and the time.

This is not Mafia and it doesn't feel like one.

Lincoln as a protagonist, physically speaking, do not suit the Mafia stereotype as that was once upon time.
The Godfather, the movie, translated perfectly the whole mafia thematic and atmosphere with characters as the previous Mafias did with Vito & Tommy.

This Mafia III feels like a pseudo open-world with lifeless NPCs. The AI, I'm not joking, is worse than some titles I played 20 years ago.

Technically speaking, this game on my rig which runs pratically majority of the games without problems fails to hold a constant 30 fps. 30 !
Too much stuttering with every graphic setting tested.
I already tested the normal version 5 years ago and it was as awful.

If ALT+Tabbed, the graphic of the light glitches and the sound of the vehicles disappears.
Some cutscenes display a black screen while the voice still running.

The 2K launcher is something so useless, and I hate developpers who are still pushing this method of treating players; imposing a third-party program for nothing. This is one of those times that I envied people that got it somewhat illegaly.

The controls, out of every other game I own, are so bugged. The sensitivity of the right analog in so high, I tried it on 0.1 and with custom imported settings but it remains the same.
The shooting mechanics do not require any aiming skills. Some people can consider this as a positive point, I personally view it as something that disturbs the immersion and the shooting.

I feel that this game, IF played on console, AND IF NOT considered as Mafia game but any other regular third person shooter, might be an "OK" option to "pass some time". But if you are seeking an impactful and unforgettable gaming experience, this title is far from something even close.

The fights are shorter more than in any other Naruto game, and become very repetitives very quickly.
The game is too easy too even in the extreme difficulty, the AI is dumb.
The singleplayer is basically all walking but covers the anime decently.

Game is decent for a nostalgia hit, but overall bad because there are other better, more polished and more complete Naruto titles.

Along Hades, my favourite game of the year.
I can sense that the developpers poured their sweat in this piece of art.
The art, the soundtrack and the gameplay, everything blends perfectly to achieve an old school game.

Recommended.

I recommend this hidden gem for people looking for a game with :

- Racing parameters
- Fun
- Chill

It's very rare that I enjoy a game in the first hours, this one was favoured minutes after I started it.
Very fast gameplay and doesn't take itself seriously.
Unfortunately no multiplayer splitscreen except LAN.
Partial controller support is a good thing.
Sountrack for me is repetitive. Graphics are okay.

Recommended.
