A fantastic rogue-lite from a crew that has consistently put out quality *fun* games. The combo fighting is fun and so incredibly varied, that when combined with the many different pickups, you actually have to adapt your playstyle to each run's build rather than just spamming progressively more powerful attacks. The voice acting is top notch and really helps you invest in the characters. An interesting story builds throughout the game that helps tie things together and keep you coming back for more runs just to see what happens next.
The music is well composed and paces well with the gameplay. The challenge is there, and if it starts getting easy, there are mechanisms that you can use to increase the difficulty and risk/reward. And you can pet Cerberus! Who's a good boi? 10+/10
