I played this game for a long time and I am really surprised that I haven't posted a review yet. This game is amazing, it teaches you basic orbital mechanics, problem solving, overall increases your interest in STEM and all of this while still keeping you entertained. I have played this game for over 1000 hours and I have still not reached Eeloo, partly because I like making bases and colonizing the nearby planets but also because the game can be really hard. But the thing that still keeps me playing is that even tho it's hard you can just try to fly somewhere and see where that takes you. You learn by failure and that is kind of the most important thing in KSP. I would definitely recommend this game to almost anyone who likes rockets and space exploration.
