Update: 2.0 has been pretty good. They've reined in dailies/weeklies quite a bit. I don't particularly love the aesthetics of the new region, but it looks pretty good objectively and the exploration feels better. Pretty fun dress up simulator with some exploration.

As for optimization, the game never ran well (I can push 60-70 on a 5080 at 4k native but BF6 runs like double that) and has always been buggy (the funny "game doesn't close" bug actually existed since the PC client launched and it originally took them like 3 weeks to fix where as the fixed it in a week on 2.0 launch), people are just bad at remembering. It's been very spotty every patch but they tend to fix it within a week.
