Very cool game, the best yet from Hazelight. The last few levels are incredible!

IMO, this is the best space sim available today.

It's far from perfect. It has a steep learning curve (I'm barely starting to get used to things at over 100h played), the UI is not that great, the AI can be janky at times...

But it has a sense of "immersive scale" unlike anything I've seen. Flying by a huge carrier-class ship is quite the thing. And then you realize you can dock on it, get out of your ship and walk on it. And you can actually own a ship like this and fly it by yourself. Not only that, you can actually build and operate a frigging space station that can build this kind of ship.

You can be a solo pilot minding your own business, doing small missions here and there, upgrading your ship when you have the money. You can operate a small mining operation, selling ore to the highest bidder. You can be a pirate, intercepting traders and stealing their ships. You can be a mega-corporation, owning stations across the galaxy and thousands of ships.

And so. much. more. And the best thing is: your actions actually affect the simulation. For example, if you want, you can cut off supply to a strategic resource from a faction you don't like, and then they can't build ships anymore and maybe they lose controls of key sectors because of this.

And lastly, the devs are great at supporting the game and they are active with the community.

Highly recommended, as long as you are prepared to invest the time in it.

Disclaimer: this is not my usual kind of game. I got it in a bundle so I gave it a try.

It's just alright. I thought most songs were pretty cheesy, but some were okay. The story was nothing special IMO. The gameplay is pretty barebones, mostly limited to choosing one of three options to direct the songs in the direction you want to go. I don't think you can really loose, but I just did one single playthrough.

I hadn't heard of the mod before, so this was all new to me. Pretty hard but still doable. Awesome production value considering this is a fan-made project. I had a lot of fun with it.

A great way to re-experience an all-time classic. Black Mesa is not only an excellent remaster, it also greatly expands the original game.

I did have some stability issues; the game crashed every few hours for me. But the frequent auto-saves ensured I never lost a lot of progress.

Highly recommended.

Great single player campaign, pretty short (about 6 hours) but densely packed with many unforgettable scenes.

If you liked Bushido Blade this is basically the 2021 version. Very well made.

I've avoided getting this game for a long time, as I thought it would get boring quickly. After all, the whole game is built around a simple line drawing mechanic... how interesting can it be?

Don't let the appearance fool you. It's amazing how much variety this game has. The puzzles are all different in their own way, and are very intellectually rewarding to complete.

The difficulty is pretty high, and there are no explicit tutorials. When you encounter a new concept for the first time, there are usually a few simple puzzles that use the concept, to help you figure out how to complete them, but the game will never give you any instructions.

Sometimes you might think you understand something but be completely wrong about it. It can be frustrating, but I urge you to not google the solutions. Don't hesitate to go back to simpler versions of the puzzle that is causing you problems and try to see if you can figure out different rules that satisfy the puzzle. If you get stuck, you can simply go to another area to try a different kind of puzzles, and come back later with a fresh mind. There is no strict path to follow. Closing the game and coming back another day is also a valid strategy ;)

Finally, there is more to the game than meets the eye at first. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say that the map design is very impressive!

Great puzzle game. Nice graphics, awesome soundtrack, engaging story, fun gameplay. It is expensive at regular price, but it's totally worth it at 60-75% off.
