Silksong is a great metroidvania. The good soundtrack and amazing boss battles further enhance the experience, constantly making you want to explore every nook and cranny of the world. Some have argued that Silksong is too difficult, a significant jump in challenge from the original. However, for me, it feels like a natural progression. Having spent hours mastering the challenges in Hollow Knight, this heightened difficulty isn’t frustrating, but rather a welcome continuation of the demanding and rewarding gameplay I already love. While it might not redefine the genre like the prequel, it's a fantastic game that delivers on the promise of its predecessor and expands the world of Hollow Knight.
