🔒 10 Rules for Safe Steam Trading

✅ Always Double-Check the Trade Window
Review every item’s name, quality, and value before confirming. Scammers often switch similar-looking items last second.

🚫 Never Trade Outside Steam
Only trade through the official Steam Trade system — no Discord bots, third-party sites, or "middlemen" unless fully verified.

💬 Confirm Identities
Check Steam profile levels, comments, badges, and trade history. Impersonators often copy trusted traders’ names and avatars.

🕵️ Inspect Items In-Game
For CS2/Dota 2 items, inspect in-game or via the official Steam inspect link — never through random “inspection websites.”

📦 Use Trade Holds or Escrow Properly
Don’t rush to cancel a trade hold; it’s there to protect you from account hijacks and scams.

⚠️ Don’t Fall for “Overpay Later” Scams
Anyone promising extra items, cash, or “bonus” trades after the first deal is lying. You’ll never see the “second trade.”

💰 Never Trade for Real Money Directly
Steam doesn’t support cash trades. Use the Market or verified, secure platforms if you must sell for money.

🔑 Protect Your Account
Enable Steam Guard, use 2FA (Mobile Authenticator), and never share your login info or trade URL publicly.

🧠 Verify Prices Before Trading
