Train, Slip Off, Headphones
With a clatter, the train should be making a sound.
Falling in drops, the evening spills down.
While I capture that, I slip into my headphones.
The contours of reality blur a little bit.

The secrets in my bag turn into powder.
The movements were like the traits of the time after I took off the ring.
While I capture that, I slip into the waves of sound.
A little bit of the awkward reality found its way in.

Yesterday is caught in the down-train on line number 3.
“It would be nice if it was a dream,” I spit out countless times.
Before the doors close, check if you’ve forgotten anything.
Cutting off the outside world just like that, where shall I go?

Soon, the moon should be chasing me from behind.
Swaying side to side, the silhouettes lose their shapes.
No matter how long I’ve waited for you, I’ll just straddle the night.
I let thoughts of the time someday when I’ll drink it down escape from my head.

I’m repeatedly playing the three-minute last scene as I’m walking along.
Before I know it, yesterday becomes far away.
It seems like it’ll reach, but it just won’t. Within the game of catch with you,
How much of my feelings could I have thrown away, I wonder?

Yesterday is caught in the down-train on line number 3.
“It would be nice if it was a dream,” I spit out countless times.
Before the doors close, check if you’ve forgotten anything.
Your habits are deeply ingrained in me.

We, just being drenched in a rain of harsh words,
Can’t rewind with a farewell like the ones in the movies.
I’m sure it’ll quietly melt away as though nothing was ever there;
I’ll ride on back-to-back trains – goodbye.
