A strong contender to be the best RGG title so far. Like literally, this game took everything from first Judgment and made it better.
Story? Dark. Darker than the first? Personal opinion. This game though shows corpses (game literally opens with a decomposing one) a lot, constant references to bullying and suicide. So if any of these topics trigger you, be warned. But the story is good. Like other titles it starts rather slow but speeds up about halfway (around chapter 7) The antagonist I think is the best the series got to offer so far. Final battle - epic, and with that music..
The music is too one the top in the series. Like no joke - in a series well known for it's bangers.
My complaints with the first game was the attrocious tailing and the Keihin Gang being a pain in the ass. Lost Judgment fixes those issues. The tailing is now more engaging, maybe it's not the best but it definetely is a step up from previous title. Keihin Gang is now a major part for a School Stories - a completly optional giant side quest that could be a standalone game in all fairness. It involves several minigames(they might get grindy a bit but nothing serious) and could get a good chunk of your playtime.
The combat and gameplay is perfected in this game. We got 2 new styles - Snake and Boxer(i believe Boxer was a part of DLC earlier but we got it for free in PC version) Each of the four is reliable and you can mix them up for nice combos.
The graphics is still the good old Dragon Engine. Yeah, it's been 7 years since Yakuza 6 and it's debut. The game looks okay, but I think it's finally time to give up on it.
I didn't noticed any major bugs and the game is fairly stable, it ran well too on my not-so-great PC.
Overall I place Lost Judgment in the same place as Yakuza 5 and Yakuza 0, being now my third contender to claim my personal TOP 1 in the series.
