Each season is just a reskin of a previous one, but hey, at least they reworked battle pass, so now you pay more for fewer items. 10 greedy companies/10

Matchmaking is completely broken, teams are unbalanced, and devs are not going to fix it

Unusual combat, amazing art, memorable characters, interesting sidequests, great voice acting and story deeper than it looks. Is this game really made by EA?
Definitely recommend

I usually don't write reviews, but this time I'll make an exception.

To be honest, I hardly heard about Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy before the release, and even if I've heard something, I simply ignored it for a few reasons:
a) I am not a big fan of Marvel
b) another game in the Marvel universe was released about a month ago (from the same publisher) and it has collected all the worst of modern games.

Therefore, I did not pay attention to the game, until I saw a review somewhere that immediately persuaded me to give it a chance. And I don't regret buying it for a minute. For me, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has become GOTY and possibly one of the best games of the last few years. Why? Because it has no boring open-world, no unnecessary side quests, no meaningless DLC's and microtransactions, only a concentrated 20-hour adventure.
The story here is perhaps the strongest side, I would say that it's even slightly better than the movie. All characters are well written, and each has its own strengths and weaknesses. The dialogues are brilliant, guardians are constantly discussing their problems and making jokes about each other, and this is not just empty chatter, almost every line makes some nice additions to the story.
Some other reviews say about boring combat - indeed, the first hour or two, the set of combos is very limited. But then, when more abilities of the guards are revealed, the combat becomes very fun and does not get boring almost until the very end of the game.
Of course, Guardians of the Galaxy is not a perfect game, especially when talking about technical aspects. Once the game rebooted my computer, several times I got stuck in textures, and sometimes there were massive FPS drops during cutscenes. But despite this, I cannot call the state of the game bad, I completed the game and did not come across a single game-breaking bug.

10/10 for me, I hope publisher will make correct conclusions, and we will see more games like this in the future

Unbalanced, poor optimised Dark Souls clone. I liked a lot another Deck13 game - The Surge, but this is completely not fun to play. Weapon animations are slow, there is no time to make hit. Enemies have tons of HP and those big stupid shields, so it's almost impossible to beat them in fair combat. Actually some enemies are much harder than bosses. Do not waste your time, from all DS clones this is definitely worst. Instead of this, I would recommend to play The Surge, it has much better combat.
