The fact that the matchmaking takes into account whether you are aggressive towards other players means that this can be either a chill PvE looter experience or a fast-paced PvP experience depending entirely on what you want. Be friendly, and you'll be matched with other friendly players. Kill everyone you see, and you'll be put in with more PvP focused players. It's a great feature.

Runs well. One downside is that there are no competition servers for North America, but there are a decent number of fun leagues to be found outside the game. Works well on a controller once you get the settings right too.

A fun physics puzzle game with no pressure, just solid challenges

There were occasional stutters before the last patch. After the patch, the game stutters HARD every 20 seconds or so. Basically unplayable if you want to win.

A few things I really enjoy about Marvel Rivals:
1) A broad range of characters and playstyles
2) Quick matchmaking and short round duration mean not a lot of wasted time
3) Doesn't take it's too seriously

Things I dislike:
1) FPS affects damage and range for some characters. Higher FPS = more damage
2) The game does not save display/graphics settings, or it constantly resets them to the 'recommended' settings

Ogryn like punching tiny men. Lots of tiny men to punch. Sometimes ogryn throw rock at runny-screamy man. Screamy man go flying. Very funny!

The best mini golf game on the market right now. Don't listen to Raculot's review. He's just bad at it.

Sounds is broken. Footsteps for other players rarely can be heard.

EDIT: They have fixed all major issues with netcode. Bugs still pop up occasionally, but they are VERY rare now.

While the gameplay mechanics are sound, there are a multitude of issue with their netcode. Issues ranging from small things like rubber banding, to larger things like entire walls being still solid for some people, while on others views it's been breached. If you want a competitive game, look elsewhere
