The game's plot is a cliché
Cliché after cliché
Nothing interesting
BUT, this plot is wrapped in cool cutscenes, excellent voice acting, and good direction
And ultimately, the work of some people is negated by the incompetence of others
But this is somewhat compensated by the fact that the length of the story campaign is shorter compared to other JRPGs (about 15 hours).
And the narrative is fast-paced.
The plot wasn't stretched out, and that's good.
But at the beginning of the game, there's not enough information about the world's lore.
And you're like, "What? Why? Who?"

There are no complaints about the sound effects.
There's nothing to say about the music either.
Nothing great or bad.

The game features 20 playable characters, and they're all different—they're not just skins.
The only downside is that when you play through the story, you can only unlock three characters from the list.
So you just have to choose the ones you like.

What about the combat?
There are various combo attacks and skills.
Dodges, blocks, parries, and link attacks.
But it all comes down to spamming skills.
Boss fights are awesome.
Otherwise, the combat is effective, but not gameplay-wise impressive.
The game has co-op, but its biggest drawback is that you can't play the story in co-op, which could have been a great feature.

So what do we get? The game isn't perfect and it's hardly bad.
It can be used to get into Japanese RPGs.
I wouldn't recommend sticking with it longer than the story.
