Good game , don't mind the comments , they are just being sheep and posting the same comments just to make the games review look bad.

If you judge the game by itself right now on steam , it's a 8/10 i would say , works great on average pc's , doesn't freeze/crash , didn't experience any bugs so far , servers are good , queues <2 min , people aren't extremely toxic , they are what you would expect from any "competitive" game.

You start with plenty of heroes , and you can get the rest

You can receive skins from the battle pass (to be fair not that many) .

Didn't purchase the invasion mode ( story missions) so i can't give my opinion on that , but overall i recommend you play it.

Honestly don't see the point in making this game look bad , most people are just salty because they payed for the game and now it's free .

I know the drama behind this game , they had some really bad decisions that weren't in the favour of old players (ow1 owners), they missdelivered on their promises. BUT most of the reviews are sheep and troll reviews.

You aren't judging the game by itself , overwatch 2 for a new player that hasn't paid for the previous game is by far the best game of this type. It is F2P , mechanics are relatibility easy , and it's pleasant to the eyes.

When writing a review try and give an honest one , not based on emotions or frustrations. The game in itself with no drama behind it is well worth downloading.

Not saying they don't deserve any backlash , but try and show the positives and the negatives.

I'm gonna assume you're a new player. Not all of these people are sheep posting the same comments to make the game look bad.

Originally we were supposed to get a whole new game in theory. We waited a year for the game to release with the promise of something amazing.

Then the game released and most of the features we were promised weren't there.

But then they announced that they would not be bringing PVE into reality. All of the amazing features we were promised were dropped. Then they drop the even bigger news that they had been planning this SINCE THE GAME DROPPED. They hyped us up for something they KNEW wasn't coming.

Now we're in Season 6, where skins in the store are STILL overpriced, the battle pass still kinda sucks, and the FREE campaign we were promised is now locked behind a $15 paywall. And it's not even the full campaign. It's three missions. Then when the next three missions drop, they'll ALSO be locked behind a $15 paywall.
