every relationship i will be in will leave myself leaving my baggage at someone's door and expecting them to carry it all of the way while i sit and wait, you will not be able to learn how to love until im truly able to pick up the baggage of my issues and carry them myself. you can not love others until you eventually love yourself, accepting the issues you have and admitting that is who i am and working on them. i will never find someone who is truly my soulmate until i find my own soul inside myself.

there is something valuable to be found in every relationship, even the challenging ones. in this new chapter, let us practice cherishing those around us not despite our differences, but because those differences remind us of our shared humanity. love given freely has a way of returning when we least expect it.
