Early Access Review
I mean this, is not skate. This is a bastardization of everything that skater culture is supposed to represent. Typical "current year" slop that is so afraid of somehow making someone somewhere upset that they removed anything that isn't corporate enough. You remember the bone snapping mechanic from the real skate games? Yeah, that's not here, and it has been replaced with some nonsense company that made everyone instantly heal or never break anything or whatever I wasn't paying attention. Then there is this annoying AI blob that insists on popping up and talking to you every 4 seconds. Thankfully you can just mute that. Something that made the original skate games amazing was how the trick system worked, and how smooth it was to pump up speed and height in ramps, but here you LOOSE speed just as you hit verticallity on a ramp so you never get any air worth bragging about. The best thing about this game is that it's pretty entertaining to throw yourself off high buildings and faceplant into a firehydrant, but since they removed the actual reward of like showing you how much damage you did to yourself, this gets old quickly. This entire game is just a front to sell kids fake money for cosmetics, which is the reason why the only thing that works flawlessly and is fully implemented is the store. Oh and the only reason this is "free" is because then you can do the bug testing for the billionaire company, AND you get the privilege of paying them for fake clothes.

In the end it's all good, because I can play as an immortal bearded fat genderblob with every ethnicity concievable hydraulically rammed deep inside my ass extremely.

Completely unplayable in VR. The fact that this is marketed as a VR compatible game is flat-out lying.

TLDR: If you are thinking of buying this for VR, do not, especially at this price. It's like a bad pre-alpha concept

*Character turns himself into knots if you turn around, forcing you to stand straight, use the track-pad both for movement and rotation

*Throwing objects requires the use of one controller for aiming, and one for the throwing movement, making it clunky.

*Constant opening of the inventory menu because both movement and menu are on the track-pad
*You have to hold grip or you drop a weapon, and reload button is assigned to the same track-pad as rotation so you just end up rotating when you try to reload

*You cannot turn off dumb features like touch rotation, so you cannot rest your thumbs on the track-pad

*You cannot crouch because the character has that assigned to a button, so whenever you try to pick something up you are like 30 cm off the floor

*CONSTANT jittering when moving to the point where running is impossible

*Inventory "sphere" is awkwardly placed on the chest rather than hip, so whenever you move your hands anywhere near it you accidentally hit the item and it drops it or opens the inventory menu.

*Flat screen cinematic locked to a specific place so whenever a cinematic starts you have to turn around to face it

*Punching or hitting an enemy with a melee weapon requires you to hold trigger and hit them or you are just gently patting them with it making the already terrible interaction with NPC's even more complicated and jank

*50% of the time when the game is started you have to restart it in "VR Mode" whilst still using your keyboard for menu interaction

*Tool-tips are awkwardly placed so half the time you don't know how to interact with objects because the text is located somewhere where you wont see it

*Menu navigation is utterly and completely moronic and counter-intuitive to the point where you have to think about every button press because "Back" and "Ok" changes between menus

There are more jumping puzzles than action, which ruins the pacing for me. Why don't you implement better stage design rather than padding the game out with jumping puzzles?

6 Levels of the exact same game as the previous Hitman. If you feel like spending 60 euro on that then go ahead, but I would recommend waiting for at least a 40% discount. This game and the previous one should have been released as one single game, maybe that would justify the price. As it is now, it's fun, short, and overpriced.
