Super fun, game needs a bit more optimisation though. I get high framerates (90 - 170 depending on the area on Epic settings @ 1080P) but the game has stuttering issues. Running an RTX 4070, R5 5600 and the game and my OS (Windows 11) are on SSDs.

I love this game but I'm leaving a negative review because CAPCOM are adding a sketchy DRM to all of their games that causes instability, lower performance, prevents modding, trips your antivirus saying that the DRM is a trojan, and makes their games unplayable on the Steam Deck. CAPCOM, you need to take a step back and realise that this isn't the way. You're only hurting the consumer and you're losing trust in everyone. Don't ever add that Enigma Protector virus to any of your games ever again and all will be good.

Now that I'm an adult with a full-time job and my own place, I get so distracted by adult life that I feel like games have lost it's charm for me. Usually I'll sit down after work to play a game but I feel so worn out that I just close it usually. When I was a teenager, I used to play Ratchet & Clank alot both on the PSP and PS2. Playing this makes me feel like a kid again, I feel immersed in the world and I never wanna close the game. I don't care what others say about this game as opinions are subjective, to me personally? This game is a masterpiece. The only gripe I have with it is the weird frametime issues that can sometimes happen in menus and when changing graphics settings, and that even on an RTX 4070 I have to turn the textures down to "High" instead of "Very High" to get a smooth experience. Thank you, Insomniac & Nixxes. (Please do fix the issues I mentioned though.)

GOONERS UNITE

First played it on the Xbox 360 soon after it released, loved it then. All of the countless hours playing it with my little brother in split-screen multiplayer mode were a great time of my life. I still love this game now. I bought it on Steam years ago but only beat it once on here, I'm coming back to play it again. Bought it on the Nintendo Switch as well. Gearbox will never surpass this, they set the bar too high. Peak gaming.
