CVE-2018-20817

SV_SteamAuthClient in various Activision Infinity Ward Call of Duty games before 2015-08-11 is missing a size check when reading authBlob data into a buffer, which allows one to execute code on the remote target machine when sending a steam authentication request. This affects Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops 1, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

DBZ Budokai and Tenkaichi 3 were my childhood games that I played for years and hold to a high regard. I haven't played a DBZ game since until I played this game, it made me sad :(

-Pros-
*This game looks and sounds beautiful. The cinematic cutscenes you see in each saga is a treat to watch back when you were accustomed to watching a traditional, 2D animation of the same characters over and over again. It is pure eye candy. Not to mention the phenomenal re-imagining of the Japanese soundtrack that not only improved upon the original, it also fits in with the games narrative
*The overworld. I have played Budokai's 3 for so long that traveling by every point on the x axis is crucial if I want bonus items. You couldn't really see where these hidden items were and you kind of needed to search the whole map to find it. In this game, however, everything is layout for you in a map, but only that, it is also a true open world experience much like an rpg

-Cons-
*The combat is imbalanced and it overall sucks. I previously mentioned that Budokai and Tenkaichi 3 were one of my beloved childhood games not only for their graphics, but their music and gameplay. Kakarot did everything except the gameplay, it is stressful and annoying. Like most fighting games, opponents have the same movement layout as you (both have light attacks, specials, blocking, etc.). But for some reason, the games devs not only made super moves that you can't do with your character, but they also do attacks you can't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ punish. Every single time I am doing a decent combo on them, 5 times out of 10 they do this annoying stun move that you have no choice but to block or dodge. Otherwise, they hit you, you can't move for 4 seconds giving every window for them to attack you. You cannot perform this move, only cpus can. My second point is the mini cutscenes every time an opponent does a super move. It's cool at first but it gets really annoying when you try to do a super move on them only for it to get canceled by the sequence. And my final point is the imbalance. It doesn't matter whether you are over or below your opponents level because chances are they are going to tank every single hit you do or whether if you're playing with a full party or not, every single opponent will do an inevitable combo on you and they will not stop until they see fit, COUNTER MEASURES CAN'T EVEN SAVE ME AT TIMES SO THE GET GUD ARGUMENT DOESN'T EVEN SUFFICE.

*Obvious budget cuts. I was originally not going to include this here, but there were scenes from the anime that this game didn't include and it would've been so cool had they implemented them like Vegeta's final flash on cell, Goku and Vegeta inside of Buu, Vegeta's reaction to Goku going super saiyan for the first time, etc.

*Redundancies and boring mechanics. I don't get why you need so many different different z orbs just to unlock a super move or transformation. In the previous games, there was at max to currencies that could buy you special moves or unlock an item and the least there were was one. Why in God's name do you need these things just to buy one move? I don't get it, the best I could guess is to encourage exploration but you could've also done that with just a singular group of z orbs to collect. Senzu beans exist in this game, and boy are they OP. You don't get senzu beans until you're at the Cell or Frieza saga and it's at that point that the rest of the healing items become obsolete. You're going to get to a high enough level where one of the healing items will not suffice to recovering your health. Senzu beans on the other hand are like the Pokemon's full restore which they both essentially do the same thing, bring you back to full health no matter how large it is.

Early Access Review
The servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash, I constantly 1 bar every 30 seconds and the sad thing is is that this game has potential. Either the servers the game is hosted on is absolute garbage, lobbies are getting lag switched or the servers are getting DDoSed without the devs noticing and/or caring about it. I play most games at a decent latency and for the most part I never lag out or in extreme cases disconnect. This game is the only game in which I lag out in every instance possible without even having the ability to disconnect, it is that bad.
There is something wrong with the servers, this isn't about my internet anymore
