Stray is a game you do not want to miss out on due to the popularity and reviews just saying "cat".

Its far from a gimmicky cat parkour and walking sim, it blew me away going in with those exact expectations.

The atmosphere, settings, environments, pacing, story, characters, soundtrack, and game play are all second to none for the price as a indie title.

The cats movements were fluid and satisfying, the environments all unique and incredibly detailed, the tones fully flushed out with the proper music to finish the mood.

The puzzles are satisfying and fresh there was never a time I got bored of the mechanics or did something over and over again, the games a constant flow of imagination and exploration egged on by a fantastic story and adventure which feels like the biggest thing to ever happen and microscopic in the grand scheme of the world.

There is no HUD to distract you but instead you are distracted by the gorgeous views, the amazing soundtrack you will fall asleep to, and the funny little things your cat brain has always wanted to do, and a bunch of interesting characters to meet and learn about in a unfamiliar place on your journey home.

This game is everything I think a good Video Game should be, it takes you on an emotional, unknown adventure somewhere you have never been and lets you solve the mysteries and get through dangers in ways you haven't thought of before.

Overall Stray was a breath of fresh air, one of the most genuinely enjoyable Games i have played in a long time and id highly recommend you give it a chance and get to experience something hard to find in the current mainstream of modern gaming,
