Find More Like This

What can I say, its a fun, hard and really annoying-at-times video game. It's basically playing a 5v5 chess table with pieces that can change at any time interval. Already a second year in this game, and I'm still learning new stuff. Best to play with friends, solo ranked is weird (you spend enough time to win +75 MMR in 3 games, only to lose it in two matches because your teammate wanted to feed and afk in base).

But the latest patch 7.00, crashed so many things that I enjoyed about this game.
The HUD doesn't make NO sense (hover for stats?, LH/DN on top left?, minimap clickable out of bounds?)
The map makes sense to some point (+7% radiant advantage wtf?!)
The heroes lag in certain spell interactions (monkey ULT = -30 fps in an instant), shrines are OP to the point you can't kill anyone before 30 min.

I get it, you change everything, you break more than you should fix. But please, where is your QA team on these things? You don't get to change everything without regression testing. Not to mention backward compatibility (RIP older GPU for this game, RIP stability for PCs with less RAM etc etc)

It will take half a year to stabilize this game again (the previous patch was the most stable one and we enjoyed harmony). Until then let the NERFs begin OSfrog, I will be back when you start making sense again and optimize this game once more.

Good news are we actually made it. Review score on the store page shows clear sign, that its more than whining and some idiots complaining.
The problem is there are still some fools like RealizeAndRecognise and so, who blindly post stuff on internetz without even thinking.

@RealizeAndRecognise let's look at the facts shall we?
1) We have a community in 1 month of complaint about the 7.00 changes
2) We have a decrease in players to a point that CSGO is starting to catch up (common for first week after patch, but to remain statusquo after a month?!)
3) We have the #1 TI winner Wings dropping fast from the meta
4) We have more Twitch streamers from LoL and HoN coming to Dota 2
Now these facts objectifes my opinion. Yours is simply subjective from your point of seeing one whine about 7.00 making all of them automatically pointless rants.

You can enjoy this game without all these facts, but the point is this. Dota 2 is no longer a strategic countering chess-play-of-a-game. Now it is more suited for brawling with drafts becoming the reason to win a game. And NO, I'm not talking about throwing and playing in the mindset of last patch in lower MMR bracket.

P.S. Nice copy/paste from wiki about revolution.

standing behind what i said, its whining not revolution... revolution; to overthrow and replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed.

but yeah seriously.. they wont change their ways as long as they get some profit out of it, thats the harsh truth. the whine is pointless. have a nice day.. :steamfacepalm:

@RealizeAndRecognise hi, far from it. When someone is having an opinion, and rages, thats whining. But when the entire community has the same opinion to rage over, that's a revolution. Just check out latest reviews, same opinion.
We will play this game once again, just not now, when Valve will re-frame their mindset about the direction of this game.

quit whining, you still pla the game so obviously you get entertained by it (its free) so yeah again, quit the whine or find some other game to play.

I actually didn't know that you could actually lose than much mmr before this review but when i looked it up you actually totally can.. cool

@[MNI] AeroEagL, I know it usually gives +25 in games (based on their algorithm), but the algorithm does not change if someone is feeding or being afk. That should omit the points from the 25 base. -75 MMR in 2 games is a metaphor, the best I have ever gotten is +44/-38 MMR when playing on 2K MMR difference.

E.g. Teammate thinks feeding courier is cool or buying wards and placing them in base. All the algorithm sees, is someone being a support (let's give this game +5 points) and then you have -30 MMR.
