So far an interesting game, a few jump scares here and there and some very creepy moments, poor virginia didnt know what hit her, to be fair, i didnt know she wasnt hostile... lol. though i have yet to make it any decent amount into the game im still figuring out a lot of the mechanics still... seems good to me

Im giving this a thumbs up but im going to list every little annoyance i had in this game... because i can. i give a thumbs up because largely the game is playable and fun, it has very awesome potential. but it lacks in certain areas.

so without further ado.
- 1. Food, early on in the game youll notice that it doesnt go very far, your given 800 bread and several hundred fish, and no matter the amount of fishing buildings you build or farms you make, will make up for the fact that everyone will die of starvation by the end of winter 3 (at most.)
-- 1a. the only way to fix this (atleast for me) was to download a mod that made the food last longer? it up-ed its Kal count so in a large sense it made it last longer. which was a huge help.
- 2. speaking of starvation, the villagers will still die of starvation even when you have an ample abundance of food in your stores. this happens because of a few reasons (some reasonable, some not.)
-- 2a. the most reasonable reason they die of starvation is you build a set of housing so far away from a warehouse that the home itself takes a good bit before it can be replenished.
-- 2b. the most unreasonble reason they die of starvation is that they will literately work themselves to death. Need to clear a forest? better hope the villager lives close by, because once they start a task (I.E. chopping down a tree) they wont stop until they have chopped the tree down and delievered the resources to a storehouse (with room to store the resources.) then they still have to travel all the way back to their home and eat. by the time this happens they're dead.
-- 2c. so far, ive not found a fix for this, as the only sure fired way for them not to die, is to not make them do it.. this needs to be fixed by the dev. (I.E. IF villager gets hungry, he stops task and goes to get food, else continue working.)
3. Deaths, because no matter how hard you try your villagers WILL die at some point, either due to old age, or having an accident in a mine BUILD LOTS OF FLIPPING PYRES!!!!!! especially when your village gets larger... or crypts (though they are more expensive. once villagers start dying in a few handfuls they will spread a plague, and by a few in game moments everyone is sick, and early in game you dont have the resources or the man power to build stuff such as a herbalist and healer shop to take care of this.
-- 3a. when they get sick, they also vomit? (maybe)??? because once my villagers got sick i literatley had them dropping like flies... not even flies. more like twinkies on my cheat day... and it would only tell me the reason everyone was dying was because of starvation. so i can only assume this is because they are upchucking everything.
4. Resources are so Hard to get.... like clearing is ok early in game, but after you get a few people and a few buildings essential building materials become hard to come by, until you can build things such as the mines. but again, they are expensive and the manpower needed to pull resources from the ground is just super taxing and time consuming...
5. Pastures, they suck... literately you have to babysit them YOURSELF for the first little bit or else they are useless. you start out with only chickens (you have to send out expeditions through the ports for other animals, which isnt really a problem besides it takes forever to be able to do one expedition...) and did i say chickens??? i meant Chicken (singular) so if that chicken dies in an "animal attack" and reduces the population of that pasture to zero... the entire pasture is useless. you have to destroy it, and rebuild it again (VERY TAXING, especially on low man power) and then try again. this becomes less of a problem once you have a couple dozen of them as if one chicken dies its not really a big deal. but the beggining of this is super annoying....

well, those are all my complaints. besides this stuff its a pretty decent game for the price. i would like to see more come to the game though and some updates. itd be nice to have more buildings to select from and upgrade features on said buildings. but otherwise its a decent game nonetheless

Im torn on this game, i thoguht i liked the story progression, you know different choices and what not, but their not really different choices, for example in the last chapter your attempts to get emily to talk about her feelings for you end in your character writing out everything you wanted him to say only to delete it (wimp out) and write small talk, ending with you saying goodbye, and game over... i even went back through the story several times, and well was not impressed becasue no matter what you do, this B*tch! doesnt end up with you and your college crush emma, either gets mad or doesnt talk to you again. so yeah. its a good thought but while playing this game no this there is only one outcome.

well this is an exceptional game, definitley worth money, however im having to low ball this reveiw because something happened with the planet up dates. as in everytime i load into the game now, it crashes... didnt do that before planets where added. once the game is fixed ill change the review

some funny tidbits about this game, one of the servers (that i enjoy playing on) as soon as i spawned in the game... sabertooth like 2 ft from me, kills me..... so yeah the amount of carnivores in this game sometimes can be overwhelming especially to a new player. you need to find a tribe fast.

speaking of tribes some of them can be complete d*cks. one tribe on my server dubbed "the fire nation" (and yes there is a water, earth) nations too)). came to my tribes base and basically just wrecked it with a super strong t-rex. so we are apparently about to wage war against them.... wish us luck!

wow, what can i say besides. if this were me in the game, id die in a day..... i was doing good for a little bit found a logging camp i was up to two days surviving thought i might build a fire and cook me some pork and beans and boil me some water..... well guess what happens after everything is cooked? a wolf.... right.. in.. front... of ... me... i quickly try to get a flare out (keeps them away from you) (P.s. i have no guns so yes flare was my best option) i light the flare but the wolf was already so close he attacked anyways. sooo after everything said and done, and i killed the wolf im bleeding out.. i make it five feet or so and die.... still a good game!

This game was ok, its a pretty decent MMO, the only downside, is the Enemies, they respawn rather quickly, and if your on a quest to get an object thats surrounded by idk 20 enemy NPC's if your not mega-high level to take them down quick (or if you dont have someone with you like that) youll get through half before they start showing up again, and then youll have to deal with all the new NPC's as well.
