Bruno Marques from Portugal who remarkably was in only his first full season won 7 times and podiumed 13 times to take the title with Roy Kolbe in second with 6 wins and 10 podiums. Another driver arrived on the scene called David Greco who won 3 events and would be a part of FSR for over a decade to come. Greco went on to become the physics designer for Codemasters.
