I can say without any doubt or hesitation, Wrath of the Righteous is far superior as an rpg game. The only thing BG3 is better at is the visuals. They spend all the money on the visuals and audio. The game is waaaay too easy even on tactician, buggy and constantly breaking immersion for me.
But WotR is definitely a few steps ahead.
BG3 I havent played yet cause I refuse to buy another early access game that takes 10 years to finish.
Kingmaker was good, it had flaws, but I feel they improved them in WotR.
Some stuff also depends on taste. People complained a lot about the kingdom management mini game in Kingmaker, but I didnt mind it at all.

In fairness, literally the prettiest water I seen in any game ever was in Pathfinder Kingmaker. Graphics very serviceable for what can in theory run on potato.
