It went from fantastic, to a poorly optimized mess of a game with some of the worst balancing patches I have ever seen, and then back to fantastic again. 100% recommend, it is peak again.

Get this game, it's free and short so there is literally zero harm to it if you don't like it, but absolutely try it. This little fraction of the story completely sucked me in and I am for sure getting the full game on release. The story, art style, and general vibe of the game are all top notch!

A really good "screw around as a random soldier and just have fun" game, you can play it tactical as well. Great for screwing around with mods, having massive battles and just passing the time
