Flab Dragon
A "lucky" dragon. A tribe of kobolds believed this dragon was lucky and would bring good fortune. They brought many tributes which the dragon greedily accepted. Somehow, good fortunes did come for the kobolds. They rubbed his belly for good luck and fed him more and more each day concluding the bigger the dragon the bigger the bounties, and to the dragon's surprise, it worked. Perhaps he really was lucky? Whatever the case, he played along, unable to say no to the praise and free food. One day he found he could not leave his room, having eaten himself into an immovable boulder of scale and flab. When the kobolds realized this, they cheered and celebrated. Now their tribe would be forever blessed with never-ending luck and good fortune. And so, the dragon lives as an idol, immovable and hungry, demanding tribute and granting "blessings". He didn't know how or why it worked, but he couldn't complain. Having his own legion of kobolds to do his biddings, feed, and care for him wasn't such a bad deal. He, however, could never leave..."Oh well", he thought. "nothing another feast couldn't fix"!
