Pretty expensive for its existing character lineup (with S1 free characters to be released on staggered basis), but those who see through its price tag will find an enjoyable solid fighting game which welcomes both beginners and experts alike.

Some find the matches too short given its damage levels but alternatively this can be viewed as a game which hones ones' defensive skills and control ones' pacing.

With single player modes to keep the game enjoyable if the online environment seems too harsh at the moment. However, matchmaking based on skill level is seemingly fair, and you'll find a match within 30 seconds to 3 minutes, depending on your region. You can practice your techniques while waiting for a match.

I believe the aesthetics were going for comic book style like Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but the layout needs reworking, particularly for submenus dropping down from a menu category. Also it is a mortal sin for the character select of Arcade Mode to be presented in the most minimalistic way -- it is supposed to bring HYPE, not snoozes!

I am looking forward to the developments on this game. The devs have been fairly responsive via patches upon discovery.
