Bean Pie Recipe.

2 heaping cups of Great Northern or Navy beans (cooked as directed) OR
2 cups of CANNED white beans

1 stick butter
1/2 c. all purpose flour
3 large eggs
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 carton of heavy whipping cream or can of evaporated milk
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla extract

In electric blender, blend beans, butter,eggs, flour and spices for about 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour mixture into a large bowl, add sugar, whipping cream (or evaporated milk), vanilla extract.

Mix well. Pour into pie shell.
Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour and let the pie cool completely if you can wait that long.
