CELEBRITIES AND THEIR VEHICLES

Artificial intelligence is reaching a fascinating point. For years they promised us self-driving cars, revolutionary breakthroughs, and technologies capable of changing the world. But the internet, as always, decided to use that power for something much more important: creating things nobody asked for but, once you see them, you suddenly can't look away.

Because let's be honest: absolutely nobody ever sat there wondering what Michael Knight would look like driving a toy-sized version of KITT, M.A. Barracus squeezed into a miniature black van, or Batman patrolling Gotham at walking speed on a tiny Batmobile with his knees practically touching his ears.





And yet... here we are. Because AI took characters we've spent half our lives associating with legendary vehicles and decided to do something far more useful: turn them into full-grown adults desperately trying to fit inside battery-powered toy cars.

Because sometimes technology doesn't arrive to solve problems or change the future. Sometimes it just shows up to give you images so ridiculously absurd that your brain freezes for a few seconds before finally thinking: "Okay... this is unbelievably stupid. Show me the next one."

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

A specialist in miniatures and practical visual effects who has worked on projects for major companies like Audi, BMW, Gucci and Activision recently shared one of those videos that makes you realize the absurd amount of work that can hide behind a single image.

In the video, you can see part of the process behind a scene where a gigantic beer bottle cap appears to levitate in front of a man standing alone in the middle of a dusty field. Miniature terrain, rocks placed one by one, vegetation, carefully crafted lighting, water droplets on the metal, forced perspective and an almost obsessive attention to detail to make everything feel believable.

And honestly, as someone who loves the world of miniatures and scale models, it�s impossible not to watch the process with admiration. There�s an incredible amount of talent behind something like this. Hours and hours of work, experience, patience and a remarkable ability to build tiny worlds capable of fooling the eye.





The artist himself mentioned that this single scene took him around seven hours of work. And that was with the terrain miniature already built beforehand. If he had needed to start from scratch, the whole thing would probably have taken much, much longer.

But at the same time, while watching the video, it�s impossible not to think about the elephant currently sitting in the room: artificial intelligence.

Because even if it�s an uncomfortable truth for many creative industries, the reality is that today an image inspired by this exact same concept can be generated in a matter of minutes simply by describing what you want. In fact, the recreation included in this post was made exactly that way. No physical miniature. No studio lights. No handcrafted terrain. No seven-hour process.

And that doesn�t take away any merit from the original artist. If anything, it makes the level of craftsmanship behind projects like this even more impressive. But it also makes it painfully obvious where the industry is heading.

Because when an advertising campaign can save tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars by using AI, a huge number of companies are going to choose that path. Just like it happened with other industries before. And just like it will keep happening with many more.

Maybe in the future creators like this will need to reinvent themselves, focusing more on the artistic side of things, building miniatures for exhibitions, collectors, physical experiences or live installations people can actually enjoy in person. Because what will probably start disappearing little by little is the idea of building massive physical sets solely to produce a final image for an ad campaign.

And agencies will probably continue to exist, of course. Because the hardest part usually isn�t generating the image itself. The hardest part is coming up with the idea. The concept. The creativity behind something capable of grabbing attention. But once that idea exists, visually recreating it now requires less time, less money and fewer people than ever before.

And denying that is simply refusing to accept what�s coming.

I STILL CAN'T GET OVER AI

My generation grew up with the Atari, those little handheld games like Donkey Kong, pixelated space shooters, and a frog trying to cross an endless highway. We watched the arrival of the 8-bit Nintendo, Mario jumping on turtles, and the first consoles that felt like pure magic back then.

We also lived through the transition from cassette tapes to CDs, from VHS to DVD and then Blu-ray. We've seen wired phones disappear, the arrival of the Internet, WiFi, Bluetooth, smartphones, and laptops. We went from the Spectrum and the Amstrad, where loading a game could take several minutes and still fail at the last second, to carrying devices in our pockets that are thousands of times more powerful than the computers that took mankind to the Moon.





That's why I think it's perfectly normal for artificial intelligence to keep blowing our minds. Not because we don't understand technology, but precisely because we've witnessed its entire evolution. We've seen every step. We know where we came from. We remember when taking a digital photo felt revolutionary and when a 56k modem sounded like the future.

Maybe for someone who's twenty years old today, all of this feels less impressive because they've grown up surrounded by technology. But for those of us who lived through every one of those stages, watching an AI generate images, write text, create videos, or hold complex conversations in real time feels like science fiction becoming reality.

And the craziest part is that we're probably still at the very beginning. If we've gone from a pixelated frog crossing a road to machines capable of creating entire worlds from a single sentence, it's hard to imagine what we'll be seeing thirty or forty years from now. And that's exactly what makes this moment in history so fascinating.

MEN AND WOMEN ARE NOT ENEMIES

We live in a strange time. A time where some people seem to have decided that men and women are opposing sides. As if this were some kind of competition. As if one side had to win for the other to lose.
And the more time I spend watching the world, the more absurd all of this feels.

Because while people on social media argue about who has more privilege, who has it harder, or who should apologize to whom, reality keeps working exactly the same way it always has.
There are people getting up before sunrise to do jobs most of us wouldn't accept even if they doubled our pay.
Dangerous jobs. Brutal jobs. Uncomfortable jobs. Jobs where one mistake can cost you a hand, a leg, or your life.
And the vast majority of those jobs are still done by men. Not because they're better. Not because they're braver. Simply because they are the ones who, overwhelmingly, end up accepting those risks.

The roads we drive on. The buildings we live in. The materials our homes are made of. A big part of the energy we use. So many of the raw materials we rely on every single day.
Behind all of that, there are usually men doing jobs that almost never show up in social media debates.

And that shouldn't be used to put women down. Quite the opposite. It should remind us of something we seem to be forgetting. We need each other. We always have.
Women bring things men don't. Men bring things women don't. And that's exactly why we've made it this far as a species.
Cooperation made us strong. Complementing each other helped us move forward. This constant war between sexes builds nothing. It only creates resentment, distrust, and division.

Maybe it's time we stopped listening to the people trying to convince us that we're enemies. Because we're not. We never have been. And the sooner we remember that, the better things will be for all of us.
