I DIDN�T DO ANYTHING

There are times when what we think happened and what everyone else actually saw are two completely different stories. We build our own version of events, filtered through our biases, our sense of right and wrong, and that little bit of self-justification we all use to come out looking better than we probably should.

The problem is, the world doesn�t run on our version. It runs on everyone else�s. And that�s where the friction starts. Because you might feel like it was nothing, not a big deal, totally normal� but from the outside, from another angle, it hits very differently. And not in your favor.

Sometimes all it takes is stepping outside yourself for a second to realize that what you brushed off, what you minimized, actually looks completely different from the outside. Bigger, more out of line, maybe even straight-up over the top. And when you�re not grounded, when you�re not seeing things clearly, it�s easy to end up paying the price without really understanding why.

And then comes that awkward moment. The one where a decision gets made and it lands right on you� and you�re left there like, �wait� what?� Like when someone suddenly pulls out a red card and sends you off. You�re convinced you didn�t do anything serious, arguing, trying to figure out when things went sideways.

But then the replay shows up. Another angle, another version you didn�t have in your head. And what felt like nothing to you suddenly looks like a clear, undeniable move. That�s when everything clicks� even if it�s already too late.

Because in the end, it�s not just about what you think you did� it�s about how it�s seen. And between those two things, sometimes, there�s a massive gap.
